You have a saddle that is the best choice for your horse.
You have a girth or cinch that is the best choice for your
horse.
BUT...the two are not compatible with each other. WHAT can
you DO?
Well...you can use a converter. Cashel makes converters that
will convert an English saddle with billets to accept a Western
cinch ring. Cashel makes converters that will convert a
Western saddle rigging to accept an English girth with buckles.
ENGLISH CONVERTER: Two English billet buckles attach to a
Western D-ring. Your saddle's billet straps will fasten to the
converter's billet buckles.
WESTERN CONVERTER: Two leather straps neatly slip over and
through the D-ring on your western saddle. They now become
billet straps and will fasten to most English girths.
Both converters tuck under your saddles flaps or skirts. They
will contact the English saddle flap or Western saddle pad, not
your horse.
