Here is the reason we keep these in stock at our store in
Claremont, NH. People living in our region LOVE this brand
and this size for SOAKING TUBS. However, they don't like to
pay the high shipping charges related to home delivery. So,
they drive to our store to pick one up. We even keep store
hours by appointment for situations like these, to make the pick-up
process easier for our customers.
We do not recommend shipping this
item. The shipping charge would be higher than the cost of
the tank. BUT...if you DO want one, just give us a call and
we'll calculate it for you.
Every...single...one...chosen as a soaking tub, never as a stock
tank. Here's the thing...they are GREAT stock tanks.
They have a safe design. They are substantial and
durable. They are easy to drain. They are easy to
clean. They are lightweight and very easy to move. They
come in a nice variety of colors.
In stock colors: Blue, Forest Green,
Ash Gray.
Other available colors: Red, Tan.
High Country Plastics water tanks are rotational molded with high
quality FDA approved UV protected plastic. This ensures uniform
thickness and strength for maximum durability and longevity. They
will not crack or split.
All edges have been rounded for safety and strength. If the tank
gets a small leak due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a bullet
hole, it can be braze welded with a common butane torch to fill the
hole.
So...about stock tank soaking tubs. People like these because
the tanks have a nice flat bottom, sloping sides to lean against
and rolled edges for neck comfort. The stepped wall comes in
handy as a support for a simple tub-table. Some people use
them "as is". Other customers have "disguised them" with
wooden screens, decks, cedar frames or mosaic tiles.
