Old Mac's Inserts
Old Mac's inserts are available to fit long and narrow hooves and provide extra security if needed. Made of softee leather and high grade leather, Old Mac's inserts secure in place on either side of the boot. The unique design of the Old Mac's does allow for width and length adjustment and also for natural hoof growth between trimming. Old Mac's inserts should ONLY be used if the length exceeds the width by more than three sizes on the size chart, where there is a possibility of the boot turning while on the hoof. Sold in sets of four (two per boot) Old Mac's inserts are available in two sizes - Large and Small. The small inserts are suitable for sizes 0-4. Large inserts are appropriate for Old Mac's boot sizes 5-8.
